WHERE IS MY KISS FOR THESE TWO ?!!!! WHERE IS IT, CRAPCOM, HUH ??? Well, I'm not going to say it every time, you are used to it now I think, this channel already has a lot of edits on Resident Evil and it will continue lol. I recently started Resident Evil 6, the last real good RE for me (RE7 looks awful to me, sorry) before RE8, if we're a little lucky, let's keep our fingers crossed and I started the game with Jake and Sherry's campaign, because I knew I was going to ship them. Having said that, I hadn't foreseen how much, MY GOD. New OTP, dear ones, new OTP! So far my Resident Evil OTP has been Claire and Leon, and only them. Now they have Jake and Sherry by their side and not far behind them, Jill and Chris and Ada and Wesker lol. But MY GOD, JAKE AND SHERRY !! They've... finished me off, literally finished, and I've been completely obsessed with them for a few days now. Also, they're canon, I'm sorry, but they had more explicit scenes in one game than Ada and Leon in ten games, they're completely canon. And also lol I read that RE6 was very often the most hated game in RE. Sorry but if you hate this game, you are crazy, this game is just amazing lol. So, who are Sherry and Jake? Sherry Birkin and Jake Muller, aged 26 and 20, respectively, are the two children of two iconic villains from the Resident Evil games. Sherry Birkin is the daughter of Annette and William Birkin, who created the G-Virus, one of the most powerful viruses in the series. Every of them was present in Raccoon City during the breakout which caused the destruction of the city, William being partly responsible of it, for various reasons, he injected to himself his own virus which pushed him to hunt down his daughter (there is a huge explanation behind it, but it would take too long to explain), which will end up infected. Luckily, thanks to Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy, who took her under their wing, she will be vaccinated and saved from the city in time, but she will lose both parents in the disaster and then find herself a prisoner of the government. She was 12 at the time. Subsequently, it will turn out that the G-Virus has never left her body, but that it has adapted and given her certain capacities. The US government will sequester her and experiment on her for years, depriving her of her freedom and life, until she is finally released on condition that she becomes an agent for the government, which she will do. Her first mission will be to find Jake Muller, a mercenary who has the antibodies necessary to create a vaccine against a new virus ravaging the world. Jake Muller who is none other than the son of Albert Wesker, former friend of William Birkin, and the most powerful character/villain in Resident Evil, since he almost destroyed the world. Albert never knew he had a son, and Jake was born and raised in Edonia (a country invented by RE in Eastern Europe) by his sick mother, and he grew up in poverty and he ended up becoming a mercenary to try and earn enough money to take care of his mother, but it will be too late and his mother will die. This will harden the heart of Jake, who will then only be interested in money and become terribly hard and cynical. He had long ignored who his father was... until now. When Sherry and Jake meet, she tries to convince him to help the world's population by helping to create the vaccine using his antibodies, which he inherited from his father, but Jake only accepts on condition that he is given 50 millions of dollars in exchange... at least in the beginning. Then, for six months, Jake and Sherry will find themselves caught up in a series of terrible events that will force them to fight together to survive... and they will get closer. I love them. Here we have the typical bad boy with sweet girl ship which remains one of my eternal weaknesses, but I also just love so much that they are the children of the two most terrible characters of RE, each representing in some way a form of redemption for their fathers (fathers who were friends during their lifetime and who would no doubt be delighted to see their children so close lol), and... just their relationship, the chemistry between them, I SHIP OKAY, SO HARD !!! So expect more edits on them lol. Anyway, I had wanted to edit this song for years as well, but I had never found a couple that inspired me for... until today.
