So I'm not sure what this video is, but what I do know is that I'm pretty proud of it. A few weeks ago, the singer Karliene released an album written entirely about Anne Bonny. As a fierce fan of piracy but also of the Black Sails series (and big fan of Karliene), I literally went crazy with this album and I HAD to edit it. This is only the first video I make with a song from this album, there will be more, believe me. It's more or less supposed to be an AU regarding more of the real historical facts surrounding Anne and Jack. And it's also supposed to be a little funny and mocking video of Jack (loving mockery, I love you, Jack). And also just a Jack/Anne video. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out but a few details on the video: - Here, Hamund becomes Anne's abusive husband, "Jim Bonny", in the AU context therefore. - The manips at the beginning are therefore supposed to represent Anne unhappy in her marriage to Jim and unhappy because she is stuck on land and unable to go to sea. - In the AU context, Jack and Anne meet in Nassau, where she falls in love with him and where they become lovers (even if Jack is far from being the best lover in the world lol). - Jack ends up convincing her to go to sea with him, to kill Hamund/Jim herself to take her own freedom after he sees how badly Hamund/Jim treated her (the manips are supposed to represent Hamund/Jim who beats her, who harasses her, etc), all of that under his protective and loving gaze. And the rest is just really a video supposed to have a little fun on Jack lol. Hope you enjoy this video, I admit I had a lot of fun doing it, I've been enjoying Jack and Anne for years (even though my ship number 1 of Black Sails - and well my ship number 1 from all the fandoms that I knew - will always be Charles and Eleanor, and far away), but I never had to edit them, well that's VERY fun to do lol.
