Is your hair blonde underneath? Do you want to make it blonde again? If you don't want to keep it blonde - then go ahead and do this treatment and a few days later, go and put a darker color on your hair. Bam, you're back to normal. If you have blonde hair underneath your vibrant hair color, go ahead and use the Vitamin C/Dandruff Shampoo treatment as many times as you need in order to lift your hair back to it's regular color. The toner treatments I mentioned are basically a helpful way to assist with the "middle phases" and transition in between your bright color and your regular hair color. Toners assist with adding a tint of color to either make your hair appear more natural looking or make it more ashy - canceling out the leftover colors that may be still stuck in your hair. If you have the following hair colors, here are some options for you to follow: ▼ PURPLE HAIR ➳ If your hair is bright purple, do this treatment 2-3 times and let it fade. You can use the silver option too in between like I did. The silver toner really helps calm the color down in between treatments and keeps the blonde underneath nice and ashy - so it looks toned down and like you meant to do it that way. The undertone of platinum blonde is PURPLE - so you are in the right direction. The purple will naturally tone that blonde underneath to a nice ashy platinum color once the purple has faded out. ▼ RED HAIR / PINK HAIR ➳ If you have blonde underneath your red hair - This is a tricky one, but you can do it! Blonde hair really soaks up the orange/yellow in red dye. So this is a finicky one. On the color wheel, you can go towards the golden blondes, or the violet based platinum blondes. I recommend after you've done this treatment 3 times - to go to a stylist and have your stylist do a golden based toner treatment to make your blonde look natural again - or you can get a violet based toner and try to get your hair to platinum - but it might take a few salon visits to get you back to white/ashy platinum because your hair will really hold on to those orange/yellow colors. Be patient .... XO ▼ BLUE HAIR / GREEN HAIR ➳ Follow the video. The silver toner will be your best friend. You're also welcome to go the more purple route and use violet based toner during the transition phases. I also recommend not bleaching your roots until the color is faded out. This is because I tried this...haha... and looked ridiculous. Basically I had half blue and half bleach blonde hair. I recommend letting it fade, let it grow and then go get your roots touched up and Voila~ you're back to blonde. I also recommend googling the color wheel theory to help learn a bit more when it comes to hair colors. It's quite fascinating! Please comment below if you have any further questions.
