Mixed Gauge Videos's video: Pacer Parade: Leyland s Last Lap West Midlands and Northern England 2018 2019

The end is nigh for the venerable Pacer Railcars of the former British Rail network as in December of 2019 the overwhelming bulk of the Class 142 and Class 144 fleet were withdrawn. Some survive into preservation, others were sent to scrap, while others see non-rail related further use. Love them or hate them, they were a part of life for many years for many people, and helped keep some rail lines open. This video features Pacers of Classes 142 and 144 running with Northern Trains in August 2018 and September 2019 in a variety of locations, as well as showing what they were like to ride on in their final months with a journey aboard 142007 on a Liverpool Lime St to Crewe service.
