Mixxie Powers's video: Clip from The Public Enemy featuring a swishy tailor

This is a funny scene from the fantastic 1931 crime film, "The Public Enemy" starring James Cagney and co-starring Edwards Woods. This film was made just a year after the Motion Picture Production Code was adopted. A few years later and this scene (and a few others) would likely have been censored. I just found this bit of info, "The film was re-released in 1941 after the Production Code was put into effect. Three scenes of the film were cut because of the Code. One is of a markedly effeminate tailor measuring Tom for a suit, another with Matt and Mamie "rolling around" in bed, and the third showing Tom being seduced when hiding out in a woman's apartment"
