Mixxie Powers's video: The Gardener with Commentary by Joe Dallesandro Clip 6

A clip from the 70's cheese flick "The Gardener" (aka "The Seeds of Evil") which Joe made before heading to Italy to make Frankestein and Dracula. The commentary track is Joe and the head of Subversive Cinema (the DVD distributors of this 'gem'). I can't remember his name. Here, Joe actually discusses working on the film--in particular, the difficulty he had with the extreme amount of make-up they used to darken his naturally fair complexion (it looks pretty fake in the film). Later, during the credits, where he drily reads off random names of Puerto Rican actors, pretending to remember them well, the make-up guy's name comes up and he remarks on what a 'pain in the ass' he was. Otherwise, he is fairly gentlemanly with his comments regarding the two lead actresses who were the only ones he really had any scenes with. Basically, this commentary is an excuse for the interviewer to let Joe talk about his career and life. They talk some about the film and at some point, toward the end, Joe makes fun of it a bit, MST3K style.
