Since then it has been used in various air forces around the world, thanks to it's good flight characteristics, respectable payloads and excellent agility. Continually upgraded to remain current in the modern age, some Air Forces have yet to replace their fleets with more modern, next generation aircraft, which has led to this being one of, if not the most numerous fixed-wing fighter aircraft currently in military service.
