Tutorial Building Fire-Police And Ambulance Station Scale Models | OO, N, HO Scale Railroads | See how to construct scale model buildings. Download, print, and build 4 structures for your model railroad layout: a Fire Department Building, Burnt Out House, Ambulance Station, and Police Station: 1. Select plans for the model buildings you want to make 2. Select the sizing you want: OO gauge / HO scale, or N scale 3. Download and print the color plans 4. Glue printed plans to some cereal box cardboard 5. With a craft knife gently score the fold lines 6. Cut the plans out 7. Join the parts together following the drawings supplied - use super glue or clear glue 8. Balsa wood painted charcoal black is perfect replicating burnt roof joists 9. Some extra card can be glued on the inside of each model building to give additional strength 10. Spray assembled replica buildings with clear non-gloss spray for added protection These 4 model buildings are suitable for any railroader, crafts person, or model maker wanting to create an interesting city or town scene that looks really authentic. The featured models are: a fire station building, a fire damaged burnt out house, a police station, and an ambulance station for paramedics and their scale die-cast emergency vehicles. All four plans can be downloaded, printed, and built to HO scale, OO gauge, or N scale. The fire department building, ambulance station model, and police station model can be positioned as part of a railroad layout town scene with die cast miniature emergency vehicles parked outside the stations, or the emergency crews could be attending the aftermath of a house fire. A scene like that could not only include police cars, fire engines, and ambulances in attendance, but also include fire hoses spread across the roadway, and miniature plastic people figures to represent firemen, police officers, and paramedics. There could also be a crowd of curious bystanders watching on (again using miniature plastic people figurines). The emergency vehicles and plastic people figures would need to be the same scale as your model buildings – N scale, OO gauge, or HO scale. There could also be emergency crews (miniature plastic people) getting in or out of their scale model vehicles at the police station, fire station, and/or ambulance station. Flashing or flickering LED lights could add to the drama, as could some sirens, crowd voices, and perhaps some fire crackling sound effects. The fire damaged scale model house already has damaged windows and a burnt hole in the roof, but more detailing could be added depending on how creative you want to be. Windows and doors could be cut out from each model and another copy of each plan could be printed out and glued to card. The doors and windows from the second copy could be glued behind the first copy thereby giving an even greater 3D effect. Thin strips of balsa wood could be shaped and painted with some acrylic black charcoal color paint to resemble fire damaged roof joists. These could be glued on the inside of the burnt out house roof and be visible through the burnt hole in the roof. Balsa can also be used for posts and chimneys on houses if required. Plans for the fire station, fire damaged house, ambulance station and police station model buildings can be downloaded, printed, and made to N scale, OO gauge, or HO scale. 🔥Facebook https://www.facebook.com/modeltrainsrailroads 🔥Model Train Help Blog http://blog.model-train-help.com 🔥Official Website https://www.modelbuildings.org _Station_Scale_Models _Trains_Railroads _Building _Trains 🎯Don’t Forget To Subscribe: https://www.youtube.com/user/modeltrainsrailroads?sub_confirmation=1 🎯
