Manali diaries (May 2024) - First long distance road trip with 2 young kids and what an adventure it has been . Will share details here through some reels and detailed videos on YouTube channel @momcomindia . Day 1 - 27th May … Drive to Manali from Noida … started at 4.20 am and reached our hotel - Solang valley resort around 7 pm ..No traffic … clean route .. lovely drive Day 2 - 28th May …. Left for Atal tunnel which was hardly 30 minute drive from our resort … clean route , no traffic which was the whole idea of staying at this property as you can avoid the whole jam of Manali . Crossed the long tunnel for the first time and what an experience ❤️ Took right towards Gramphu snow point as we were told we can get some snow there and Kabir was so excited about snow . Beautiful scenic drive , very good roads and distance from Atal tunnel was hardly 30 mins . The place was full of tourists and lots of activities and food. You cannot take your vehicle beyond this point as they have barriers here . They have ATV riders who can go beyond this point and take you where there is lot of snow , we didn’t take that option coz we had a permit for Rohtang pass for 30th May and wanted to start with basic snow first . Needless to say , Kabir had a blast and was sooooooo happy . Spent good 2 hours there . Stopped at a waterfall on our way back where kids again had a super time . Lovely scenic drive back to the resort so a super successful day 1
