What we ate at a Georgian Restaurant : 1. KACHAPURI - This is a famous Georgian Cheese bread with a lot of varieties. The traditional one comes like a boat shape with cheese and egg filling. Its the Adjarian Kachapuri. Enjoy this traditional dish by tearing the bread crust and dipping it in the egg cheese mixture. I enjoyed the Imeruli Kachapuri more as am not a fan of the raw egg. 2. KHINKALI These are Georgian Dumplings that looks like momos. It has got filling of meat, vegetables, mushroom, cheese or potatoes. We chose potato and the cheese ones. I personally liked the potato. Kids enjoyed both. 3. POTATO WEDGES Not sure if these are traditionally eaten or prepared in their style. As we heard this is quite famous here, we ordered 2 plates that came along with a sauce which tasted similar to dynamite sauce. The wedges were sprinkled with spices. 4. FRIED CHICKEN The Fried Chicken was served with French fries, cabbage pickle and sauce. Chicken was patted and its stuffed with fried egg. Stay tuned as we are exploring more on the Georgian cuisine.
