During my muted time across all platforms, I have been listening, researching, learning, growing and educating myself on the impact and severity of racism today, including realising and exploring my own personal privilege in this world. If you don't believe that racism is relevant today or why we so badly need to stand up for the Black community then please educate yourselves. The information is out there and once your eyes are opened it cannot be unseen or unnoticed. I will link down below some government released statistics (UK) on how black people are represented in jobs, education, arrests ect and encourage us all to further educate ourselves. Please may this not be a 'Instagram trend' or a fleeting moment from all non black allies, but instead may it please be the change to the future.
