Part 3: A Conversation with Julian Bond was produced by Stanford University's Black Community Services Center. Julian Bond is an American social activist and a leader in the American Civil Rights Movement. Mr. Bond helped found the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) in the early 1960s; was the first president of the Southern Poverty Law Center; served 20 years in both houses of the Georgia Legislature; and from 1998 to 2010, served as chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
