I couldn't have hoped for a better one year anniversary with you my sweet angel. One year of marriage with the love of my life, I thank the good lord for you every day, and I always will my Huggy baby 💜🌙. Happy anniversary I still can't believe this is my life. I wake up next to her every single day, and it's still surreal. May 3rd 2019 my life nearly ended. I had no hope left for life to hold on to. But I survived, and began a new life. Months later, through the most miraculous circumstances, I ended up finding that I was meant to give my life to Jesus, to learn from his lead, and I found a richness to life I couldn't believe I was never able to see before, that I couldn't believe was possible. And during that incredible year of growth and healing, I met so many amazing people, experienced so many beautiful moments, but I couldn't have remotely anticipated my greatest prayer to be answered. March 14th 2020. That day, I ended up on the phone with an angel named Jess, who would, by accident, assume the name Huggy going forward (she thought I called her boohuggy, I didn't, but we laughed and it stuck forever). We spoke for 6 hours in total that day, and that 6 hour phone call turned into forever with the woman I was meant for, truly, to spend my eternity. And on September 23rd, 2023, she became my wife. ME, Andrew Douglas Lane, became a husband. We have experienced the most beautiful bliss and incredible pain together, always weaving and molding and growing together through every single thing life can throw at us. Never alone, never abandoned, but a pair made by God to become as one, and I am thankful every single moment of my life. So to God, thank you, endlessly, for this woman, for this life, and for the chance to start over every moment you still have air in your lungs. Thank you God for pain, for beauty, for everything that leads to balance. Because it all led me here, with my love, and I will never, ever, EVER not be by her side, to hold her hand, and make sure she doesn't fall. (Except at the movies last night, what could I do? The clumsy rascal was too quick up the stairs) but seriously, Huggy, I love you forever. My angel 🌙
