While we started with the New England Patriots, we transitioned over to the Atlanta Falcons in Year 2, as Joey Shatley, the former New Orleans Saints QB takes over as the Head Coach down South. Shatley was the QB Coach and OC for the Las Vegas Raiders the past two seasons, but has never called plays fully until this season. He is carrying over his influence in the West Coast Scheme, and brought over the Raiders defensive philosophy as well: A Cover 2, Cover 4, Cover 6 base 4-3 defense. The team is in massive need of a rebuild, however. With Grady Jarrett traded away for a first round pick, and Matt Ryan and Alex Mack retiring after the 2020 season, the Falcons needed to find their QB of the future, and figure out how to build the rest of the roster. Enter “The Protagonist” QB Malcolm Martinez with the 7th OVR pick in the 2021 draft. A Dual threat QB out of TCU, Malcolm will be the future of this team. I hope you are excited to see what Malcolm and this Falcons team is capable of as we work on rebuilding this franchise!!!
