Moosh's video: Say Less by Pocke

This level is certainly "different" to say the least. I saw this while scrolling through twitter today because gt twitter is having a huge discourse over the level, and from what ive seen its mostly negative things about it. And honestly, i think this level is pretty cool. I think it's worth noting that the objective of this level wasnt to be a "quality masterpiece" or whatever, or really focusing on what most people would probably call quality. Being a build swap it's more expected to see more randomness and clashing with styles and decoration since things can go more "wrong" the more collabrative effort is in it. I think the biggest turn off for people is how random the level is, as many parts such as the very start and the whole drop seems like things were placed at complete random and serve no purpose, but i wouldn't say thats the case at all. The whole drop ship does controlled chaos in a really cool way, and a good example is the start with specific objects flashing specific colors (which is also present throughout the whole drop but less apparent) and little art pieces thrown throughout like the orb pride flag, key face, yatagarasu, etc. As the level goes on and the song becomes crazier the level follows suit with it, becoming more random near the end of it which was a really fitting thing in my opinion, with a calm ending to match the song as well. The level matches the song energy throughout which i think is a very important thing when it comes to levels in general and it does so in a way thats very unique and out there to the point where many cannot understand whats cool about it, and i think that about it is what makes this a cool artistic piece. That isn't to mention some of the cool gameplay things this level does. The part at 26% actually has multiple paths you can take which is something i always appreciate in levels as it gives the opportunity for different playing experiences, as well as there's a free fly section at the drop. which i thought was a REALLY cool addition even if there's a mostly set path for you to take through it. This sure isn't a masterpiece by any means, it's just a fun little level, but i think people are getting a little too upset over this getting a star rate in game. It accomplishes what it tried to do in a cool unique way and it stands out from the general norm of levels, and to me, that is more than enough to make it rate worthy in my eyes.
