Poema Sinfónico para Banda de Óscar Navarro Poema sinfónico inspirado en un viaje a las frías y misteriosas aguas de la Antártida, un viaje lleno de misterio belleza y acción. DANZA DEL PUERTO Comienza la aventura con los preparativos en el Puerto. Una rítmica danza durante la primera sección de la obra nos sumerge en el corazón del Puerto donde las galeras van siendo preparadas para la gran expedición. GALERASTras una larga mañana de preparativos, un redoble de tambores unidos a la sección de trompas y trompetas como protagonistas nos indican la hora de partida. Una vez iniciado el viaje, llega la calma y las frías aguas de la Antártida nos van introduciendo en un lugar mágico, donde grandes montañas de hielo surgen de debajo de las aguas formando un paisaje único y cautivador. ANTARTIDA Tras un recorrido por las bellas montañas de hielo nos introducimos en el corazón de la Antártida, donde la gran calma se ve interrumpida por un gran Alud de nieve. DESHIELO-ALUD Durante esta sección puramente rítmica, las galeras van sorteando icebergs, desprendimientos de nieve y fuertes temporales hasta que por fin y tras una gran lucha contra la madre naturaleza, consiguen escapar sanos y salvos. SOLEDAD Una vez pasado el peligro, un gran momento de soledad y calma (solo de Violancello) cubre las aguas del Antártida, hasta que amanece un nuevo día y la expedición vuelve a casa. RETORNO ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Symphonic Poem inspired in a cold journey to the freezing and mysterious waters of the Antarctica. It is a trip full of beauty, mystery and action. PIER DANCE The adventure begins with the planning of the trip at the Pier. A rhythmic dance fills the first section of the piece, and it submerges us in the heart of this place, where the ships (galleys) are being supplied and getting ready for departure. GALLEYS After a long morning of preparations, the sound of a drum roll mixed with the French horns and trumpets indicate us the time of departure. Once the journey has begun, the calmness of the gelid Antarctic waters introduces us in a magical place, where big mountains of ice appear from under the water, forming a unique and captivating landscape. ANTARTCTIC After travelling through the mountains of ice we submerge ourselves in the heart of the Antarctic, where the quietness will quickly be interrupted by a huge avalanche of snow. MELTING-AVALANCHE During this section, which is purely rhytmic, the galleys try to avoid colliding with the icebergs, and fight the hard weather conditions until they finally, and after wrestling with mother Nature, can safely escape the conditions. SOLITUDE Once danger has ceased, a moment of loneliness and ease (portrayed by the cello solo) surrounds the cold waters. With the sunrise a new day begins, and the expedition can finally return home. RETURN
