Stevie Wonders genialitet har inte så mycket med hans röst att göra, det handlar mera om hans hihat ljud. Det låter som att hihaten är gjord av skumgummi. Skumgummi-hihaten mixas starkare än alla andra instrument också, ibland även starkare än sången. Alla klarar inte det, men Stevie klarade detta ibland. Idag försökte jag. Kopplade därför in en 421a på hihaten, in i analogt bord, och på detta en gammal brusig dbx kompressor med alla rattar på max. Fränt !
