Moria Chappell's video: Petite Jamilla: Vrtlog Vira A Midsummer Night

@Petite Jamilla: "Vrtlog Vira" (A Midsummer Night)
"Vrtlog Vira" is a solo performance choreographed and performed by Petite Jamilla from the theatrical show "A Midsummer Night" directed by Moria Chappell. "Vrtlog Vira" is a Serbian song originally by Darkwood Dub followed by "Wave of Mutilation" originally by Frank Black, here performed and arranged by August Hoerr on accordion and vocals with Thomas Groover on percussion, which is available on the album "Chemnitzer." "The theatrical show 'A Midsummer Night' was a collaborative production based on themes of fantasy and dreamscape. Four days prior to its performance, three primary choreographers (Moria Chappell, Victoria Teel, and Petite Jamilla) taught the entire show to a mixed-level group of performers at Hard Raq Bellydance Festival. The dancers who auditioned were from various backgrounds: professional, semi-professional, and student dancers; yet all were united in devoting their shared passion for belly dance, world dance, and fusion dance. My deepest gratitude to all involved." ~ Moria Chappell (Artistic Director) Videography and Editing by Rachel Searcey www.petitejamilla.com
