Morph's video: Blake Morrison: Witches and the Yorkshire Ripper

We produced this interview with Blake Morrison to promote his new book being published by Litfest. This is one of a series of clips used to promote the book. A Discoverie of Witches combines new poems with previously published work, including his controversial tour-de-force long poem 'The Ballad of the Yorkshire Ripper'. This collection gives voice to the participants and victims of the Lancashire Witch Trials in 1612, and the shadow they left in Lancashire life. The poems explore the dark, beautiful Pennine landscapes where Blake Morrison grew up, the kind of places where the natural seems to meet and merge with the supernatural.
