Procedure for each of the notes: 1.) listen to the note (short) and take a breath. 2.) sing along with the note for 3 measures, listening carefully to try to match what you hear perfectly. the sine wave will warble against your voice as you go out of tune. 3.) take a breathe and sing the note again (3 measures) but this time acappella (without the guide note). 4.) take a breathe and sing the note one more time (3 measures); this time again with the guide note making sure to match it as close as you can. you can use any kind of vocalizations you want (mah may mee moe moo, gug gug gug, ahhhh, oooh, laa, hmmm) and you can sing in whatever octave you want. the important part of this exercise is to really focus on matching the pitch perfectly.
