Mostly Ear Training's video: Sing the Scale Degrees: Key of E

@Sing the Scale Degrees: Key of E
An alternative to solfege. Sing the scale degrees. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 1. Key of E. Also includes the music theory names for each of the scale degrees of the major scale: tonic, supertonic, mediant, subdominant, dominant, submediant leading tone, tonic (octave). The suggestion for practice: Sing along with this, trying to match pitch with the piano as well as you can, 10 or more times through. Let it loop! If you are in a place where you don't feel comfortable singing outloud then try imagining yourself singing in your mind. This thing of imagining music in your mind is called "audiation" and is quite a good thing to practice even if you are somewhere you feel comfortable singing outloud. I'd recommend mixing it into your daily practice routine.
