Move With Beddard's video: TEXT NECK Neck Pain

@TEXT NECK | Neck Pain
TEXT NECK I made a post about neck posture using phones at the beginning of the month. Probably the biggest concern in young children developing at the moment. What with all the iPhones, iPads etc, being unaware of their posture that could lead to permanent cervical neck pain. For the general working guy/girl, it’s excessive time hunched over a laptop, scrolling through Instagram, reading books... So many clients come to work complaining of neck and shoulder pain. A lot of it is due to self care. Here’s 2 tips: * Hold your phone at eye level as much as possible. Laptops/tablets should also be positioned the same so you don't have to bend your head forward or look down to view it. * Take frequent breaks! Maybe set a timer on your phone to remind you to get up and walk, grab a brew, stretch (see my for upper traps stretches) Spend a whole day being mindful of your posture—is your head bent forward when you drive? When you watch TV? Any prolonged time when your head is looking down is a period when you’re putting excessive strain on your neck. Also check out the video link for an extension of my last post for phone posture. Credit to Physio Lumbi with this one. It’s a game changer!
