Mr M's video: Pure Oxygen Gas Filled Balloon Explodes - I almost lost my damn hearing

We were testing some oxygen explosion special effects pyrotechnics for an upcoming shoot, it's a balloon filled with 99% pure oxygen. We were running out of time and the wind kept taking out balloon away, this was our last attempt and rushing to the point that i somehow forgot to put my hearing protection on. un freaking believable, i didn't even get a chance to hear the entire explosion before i couldn't hear anything at all. my ears were ringing for 3 or 4 days and i was very nervous that i was going to lose the hearing in my left ear, the sound echoed off the wall to my left.
