After a quick montage of items that require terrible HMs to grab, we take care of the last remaining task in Three Island and return to the Kanto Region! Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are remakes of the original Generation 1 games of Pokémon: Pokémon Red and Blue. They feature mostly the same content, but with Generation 3 mechanics and some additions exclusive the remake. They were released in early September 2004, and while they still have some issues for today's standards, I personally consider these the games to play if you want to experience Generation 1.
