Since many cars are sold using a lease, obviously I think its the right move for Tesla to offer a lease. Tesla is also scraping the 40KWH battery option for the Model S. Elon explains why. • I like that Elon will use his own personal money to buyback leased Teslas should the company fail. Because of the lack of luxury EV competition, I think Tesla will survive and live on to produce the SUV Tesla X. Let's see what Elon Musk has to say.
