MsJAG's video: Grand Cayman Island Vacation off the Grid Exploration May 2023

This was my ninth trip to beautiful Grand Cayman Island. I first went in 2008 as an RN at the main hospital and spent eight months on the island. Now, I go back with my girlfriend to visit her family and friends. This trip was all about family time, so we didn't engage in activities like diving (which I don't do anyway), interacting with stingrays, visiting the turtle farm, swimming with dolphins, horseback riding into the sea, deep sea fishing, or snorkeling this time around. Grand Cayman offers plenty of other experiences waiting to be discovered if you have the time. We did a lot in the 14 days we were there, and this is what you’ll see in this video: -Staying at Villa Allure off Crewe Rd. -Driving along Easterly Tibbetts Hwy -Driving Along West Bay Rd -Seven Mile Beach -HSA - main hospital -Calypso Grill restaurant -Caymana Bay -Rum Point -Kaibo -Driving along Queens Hwy -Tukka restaurant -Cayman Castle -Health City hospital -Old Man Bay area -Northside Rd -Kai Bo -Crystal Caves -Botanic Gardens -A Blue Iguana at the Botanic Gardens -Pedro Castle -The Cayman Islands National Museum PRO TIP! Rent a car, taxis cost way too much, and there is no reliable bus service! Stay in an AirBnB. An AirBnB is much cheaper than a hotel and very safe! Plus you get more privacy and relaxation! Don’t pay to go to Seven Mile beach. It's free for all locals and tourists! To really get to know this island you have to stay on it for at least a week and get around. It's not like any other Caribbean island.
