The ‘Dub’ strips back the melancholic XTC chords and gets the machine-driven drums firing off rapid-fire style. NRG level 8.5. On the B-side Syrens sounds the call to all the modular maniacs out there. Tripping and tweaking all the way through the 9 mins, it does an aces attempt at leaving you confused and satisfied at the same time. Lastly, ‘Improper Conduct’ does exactly what a B2 should. Squelchy, bumpy, spacey, and groovy counterbalanced with the perfect amount of acid, spice and snap.
