Multicultural Australia's video: MOSAIC Multicultural Festival Retrospective 2017 2019

@MOSAIC Multicultural Festival | Retrospective (2017 2019)
The MOSAIC Retrospective showcases highlights from Brisbane's MOSAIC Multicultural Festival (formerly WELCOMEfest and the World Refugee Day Community Festival). MOSAIC began in 2009 as the World Refugee Day Community Festival in June 2009 at the Annerley Soccer Club fields. The festival showcased and celebrated the wealth of talent and diversity within refugee communities in Brisbane and included a citizenship ceremony and sports tournaments. From 2017 the Festival changed to October, it moved to Roma St Parklands and became the MOSAIC Multicultural Festival. In 2019, over 10,000 people attended MOSAIC, a vibrant celebration of our cultural diversity.  Unfortunately this year due to COVID-19 we were unable to gather in person.  Instead, people across Brisbane are invited to continue to celebrate our rich cultures and stories with the REIMAGINE Virtual Events Program. Even though we can't gather together in 2020, you can enjoy this spectacular vision of MOSAIC through the years until we can meet again in person for the next MOSAIC Multicultural Festival. Until then, enjoy the REIMAGINE Virtual Events - head to www.multiculturalaustralia.org.au/reimagine
