Si legge spesso in rete che questa canzone sia attribuita alla brava ex cantante e conduttrice tv Stefania La Fauci. In realtà lei non c'entra nulla. FAUCI aveva già inciso un altro singolo ne 1985, "Jamaica", come Fela Fauci, per cui si tratta solo di mera omonimia. Stefania La Fauci non avrebbe mai potuto interpretare un pezzo del genere, lei cantautrice più raffinata e con un repertorio completamente diverso e vocalmente tutt'altra cosa e per altro sotto contratto in quel periodo non con la Carosello ma con un'altra casa discografica
