Every year as Santa prepares for his Christmas Eve ride across the world he gets massive amounts of requests from musicians for their song to earn the title of “Official Christmas Song for the World.” To earn the title you have to have the most beautiful & festive Christmas song of the year. Santa loves listening to the numerous submissions from all over the world. This year, with the help of Mrs. Claus, Santa declared Lisa Mychols “Ringing Bells on Christmas Day” beautifully festive, upbeat and truly holiday joy from the very first note with the “Spirit of Christmas” all over it and easily earning the honor of being this year’s “Official Christmas Song for the World.” As is tradition, when Santa begins his midnight ride the song will be playing throughout the North Pole as Santa’s sleigh takes flight. The elves and reindeer rejoiced upon hearing the news on Santa’s weekly podcast. However, though Santa has Blue Tooth and hooks up his Iphone to his sleigh’s sound system, he loves to listen to the local radio stations of the towns he is visiting and loves to hear the “Official Christmas Song for the World” numerous times over the airwaves to keep his spirit and energy level high to complete the long night ahead. However, some radio station music programmers and were placed on Santa’s naughty list this year for forgetting to place Santa’s favorite song on their radio stations holiday playlist. Though I’ve seen the list, I don’t want to mention any names here.
