Constructed in 1913 the Beitou Public Bathhouse was the largest bathhouse in East Asia at the time. It has since been converted into the Beitou Hot Spring Museum. The noble building now recalls, with a love letter-like nostalgia, the history and development of Beitou's hot spring area. A tour through Beitou museum recalls the discovery of this idyllic settings, through a labyrinth of charmed artifacts on display. Displayed relics and documents, reveal the story of Beitou's hot spring district to the visiting public. Open Tuesdays to Sundays (closed on Mondays).
