The fact that he was so sadistic that he took and used every lightsaber that he got from Jedi he killed just made my 10 year old mind explode. Not to mention he’s a prototype Darth Vader! And while I was glad that they fleshed him out in Dave Filoni's Clone Wars series, I still wish that they had taken just some more little opportunities to portray his ruthless, almost invincible side that we got from his introduction into the Star Wars universe, shown right here in this video. So, since this was, again, his first appearance ever, I figured I'd take a stab at voicing him, even if he had only two lines in this scene. I aimed to take John DiMaggio's VERY chilling introduction of the character and combine it with the more familiar and generally loved voice of Matthew Wood, who voiced him in both the modern Clone Wars series and in ROTS. And to add to the fear factor of Grievous, I kept in the whole scene, so hopefully, my performance can fill you with the same sense of fear and dread as it did to everyone that was introduced to the General for the first time through this show, myself included.
