Mystic's video: NEW PS5 Beta Audio Upgrade Tested: Is This A Game Changer

Sony recently sent out a new PS5 system software beta that finally includes the feature to make a custom 3D Audio profile in settings. So instead of 5 basic presets, you can now go through a setup wizard that attempts to configure a profile that's tailored for you. I've been playing games with this for two weeks now, and while it does sound good, I want to directly compare this to the basic 3D Audio settings. So that's what we try to do here. Is it a placebo effect? Or is it actually better? And is a hotdog really a sandwich? We didn't test that here.
