It had DVD playback which was incredibly useful and worth having in the early 2000's. And Also, Gran Turismo 4 supported Epson printers. Because how else were you going to show your friends at school, your office co-workers, or your friends at the bar that awesome car that you just unlocked. That's right, PS3 could print from a lot of third party printers. But PS2 had one of the earliest examples of a traditional photo mode in a game. And today, we attempt to use it in the glorious year of 2024. It.. did not work exactly.
