Mamata Banerjee are “devoid of logic” since the registry is being made to tell who are the “genuine citizens of India”.Earlier, Mamata slammed the registry saying that she is fighting “for the Bengalis, Biharis and all. They are very much Indians.”. "The NRC is being done with a political motive. We will not let this happen. They (BJP) are trying to divide the people. The situation cannot be tolerated. There will be a civil war, blood bath in the country," Banerjee said further without having no inputs. She even accused the BJP-led government hatching a conspiracy to drive out Bengalis and Muslims from Assam.
