Dog giving birth to puppies. Amazing. So cute. The 2nd puppy was stuck for a long time. It was seriously looking like the most probable option to make sure she had a healthy birth. Luckily she pulled through! The puppy is show born in an ambiotic sac common to all dog births. It is common for all mothers to eat the sac because in the wild she has to hide the smell from possible predators. She gave birth on the floor. The two most important things to remember before we go into detail, though, are these: The mother dog knows what to do by instinct, so she should do most of the work. More than at any other time, you need to heed Cesar’s advice to remain absolutely calm. Whelping can be a stressful process for both the humans and animals involved, although dogs are usually perfectly capable of getting themselves through these things alone.
