On September 12, 2020, we lost one of our own. And it could have been you, your father, your mother, or your grandparents. On that evening, our respected brother Mohamed-Aslim Zafis was killed right in front of the IMO mosque while he was volunteering by a man with ties to a violent white supremacist and Islamophobic neo-Nazi group. This tragic event happened only three years after the Quebec city mosque shooting. Brothers and sisters, its now clearer than ever that white supremacist groups across Canada are becoming more and more bold and violent! We need to act NOW to make it clear that enough is enough!
