Iran news in brief, February 11, 2021 Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll in 480 Cities Exceeds 213,900 Over 213,900 people have died of the novel coronavirus in 480 cities across Iran, according to the Iranian opposition People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran as of Wednesday. The official death toll declared by the regime stands at 58,686 around a third of the actual figure. While the number of Covid-19 deaths in Iran reaches the 214,000 mark and the regime’s criminal/plundering policies are delaying the people’s access to the vaccine to an unknown future date, regime President Hassan Rouhani continued his series of ridiculous lies today. “Thank God that we have surpassed the grave coronavirus threat. We were able to surpass the first, second and third waves in the best possible way. People were never in line for foodstuffs and never had any problem procuring hygiene goods. No patient had to wait outside a hospital, in the streets or inside an ambulance for a hospital bed. The vaccination process began yesterday,” Rouhani said on Wednesday. Iran's Regime Executes Another Woman Execution of a young woman in the Prison of Ardabil, northwestern Iran, marks the execution of the 113th woman during Hassan Rouhani’s tenure. The unidentified young woman was executed at dawn on Monday. She was in prison for the last five years. There are 50 death-row inmates in the Prison of Ardabil. Iran holds the record of the world’s top executioner with the highest number of citizens executed per capita. It is also the world’s top executioner of women. More than 4300 people have been executed in Iran during Rouhani’s 7-year tenure. They include 113 women.
