He collaborates with key functions, including urban development, master planning, sector leads and finance to support the planning and execution of NEOM.  Brett has over 27 years of experience leading a wide range of complex engineering and construction businesses and major projects in the transportation, industrial, infrastructure, building and energy sectors. Before joining NEOM, Brett was the Managing Director and Vice President of AECOM’s Construction Services business in Southeast Asia, where he oversaw construction services across 8 countries within the transport, industrial, energy and building sectors. He spent 18 years with the Leighton group, an international civil engineering and construction contractor in the. Brett held several regional general management roles across the company’s locations in APAC, managing key businesses and major projects within the civil, building, transport infrastructure and energy sectors. Brett has held executive board roles at Roads Australia, and Malaysia-Australia Business Council. He also received a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering (Honors) degree from the University of Newcastle and is a Fellow (FIEA) of Engineers Australia.
