In Episode 113, we sit down with Starving Hysterical Naked, a new indie punk band from Mountain Top who were the runners-up in the NEPA Scene Rising Talent Finals Showcase after only a few months together as a band. Vocalist/guitarist Pat Walther, drummer Mike "Schmidty" Schmidt, and guitarist Anthony Picataggio play an acoustic song for us and we talk about how they got together and developed their catchy sound, the meaning and influence behind their name, their upcoming debut single "Over the Edge" and what inspired it, what it’s like living in Mountain Top, how previous bands and shows inform that they’re doing now with SHN, their experience playing at the NEPA Scene Rising Talent open mic at The V-Spot, their first headlining show on July 11 at Stage West in Scranton with The Cryptid, Blind Choice, and Aaron Parker, future plans, and more.
