This could be a ideal day trip or picnic. It is situated at the bank of irrigation canal (river like) connecting Damodar river with Hooghly river. over this canal 58 lock gates are there; hence the name yields. A small deer park is there. One can also spot a few peacocks here. Don't miss a country boat ride! It's indeed a beautiful property that's being set up by the govt. with quite a good number of deers at the park. The entry fee is quite nominal (Rs. 10/- pp). Quite a big area for family picnic with a number of wild animals like crocodiles, tortoise, porcupine and deer in enclosed area.
