NLC India Limited's video: NLC India Limited inks MoU with The Nature Conservancy India Solutions Private Ltd on 26 04 2023

NLC India Limited (NLCIL) inks MoU with The Nature Conservancy India Solutions Private Ltd. (TNC India) on 26.04.2023 to collaborate on research work related to repurposing mined-out lands for renewable energy, exploring carbon Mitigation potential and carbon markets. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri. Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL by Shri. Rajasekhara Reddy, ED/Mines, NLCIL, and Dr. Annapurna Vancheswaran, MD, TNC India, at Corporate Office, Neyveli. This MoU further strengthens the endeavour of NLCIL to reduce Greenhouse gas emissions and combat climate change in line with India's commitment under CoP 26 for a transition to a low-carbon economy and increased use of renewable energy sources. The SiteRight tool developed by TNC and its partner will help in determining the suitability of the land to be used for Renewable Energy projects.
