After the accident at the Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant on March 11, 2011, parents and children in Fukushima have been feeling great stress because of radiation fears, and many parents do not let their children stay outside. The "Fukushima Kids Support Project" began with the hope to give children from Fukushima a chance to release their stress by playing outside in a safe environment. For a first recreation camp, in February 2012 we invited 9 children to Miyazaki, situated in the beautiful South of Japan. They enjoyed the nature of Miyazaki by experiencing agriculture, walking barefoot, picking up leaves and acorns, and eating delicious and safe foods of local production and meeting players of professional baseball teams of the "J-league". "It has been a long time that I could watch my kids play outside without worrying. I am so glad I came". ～Comment of a participating mother. "The smiles on the children's faces were amazing". ～ Comment of a staff member. For the radiation polluted Fukushima, health support will be necessary for decades. Earth Walkers is planning to organize recreation camps on a regular basis.
