Yo, I've wanted jake brakes in BeamNG for a while now, and I know yo boy's not alone! It took hours and hours of going through the game code, but I finally created a working jake brake, with sound of course lol! O_O This mod uses a script to increase engine braking when a key is pressed, and includes a modified combustionEngine (a core file) to play an extra engine sound when the jakes are toggled! 🚌🔊 And yes, the T-Series (semi truck) will be next! Mah boys, let's start with a simple demo of how to toggle the jakes, and what it does to the engine brake torque! Then, we're gonna jump right into some juicy highway and downhill maps!
