NTMA Productions's video: The Twisted World Of Mike Rowe: An Internet Rabbit Hole

@The Twisted World Of Mike Rowe: An Internet Rabbit Hole
In this video I go down the Rabbit Hole of infamous celerity Mike Rowe and all of the absolutely twisted things he has done. This stuff makes me quiver my lip every night, try to sleep well tonight everyone, because you know what you are about to hear is absolutely twisted. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it. A fearless guy apprentices himself to people who perform dangerous or disgusting jobs, ranging from rattlesnake catcher and zoo cleaner to road-kill collector. Today, we go over a blood cult happening right here on Dirty Jobs. Before hosting Discovery's "Dirty Jobs," Mike Rowe had a program in San Francisco about folks on a mission -- mad scientists, eccentric collectors, devoted do-gooders -- called "Somebody's Gotta Do It." Now, CNN gives Rowe free rein to scour the country for people who, he says, "do what they do because of a weird mix of love, compulsion, obsession, dedication -- whatever it is. Those people have always interested me." The former series focused on the task, but this version spotlights the personality. Or, as he puts it: "More mission, less poop." Michael Gregory Rowe (born March 18, 1962)[1]:6 is an American television host, narrator, and former opera singer. He is known for his work on the Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs and the series Somebody's Gotta Do It originally developed for CNN. He currently hosts a series produced for Facebook called Returning the Favor in which he finds people doing good deeds and does something for them in return.[2] He also hosts the podcast The Way I Heard It with Mike Rowe, which he describes as "short stories designed specifically for the curious mind plagued with a short attention span".[3] Rowe has narrated programs on the Discovery Channel, The Science Channel, and National Geographic Channel such as Deadliest Catch, How the Universe Works, and Shark Week. He has also appeared in commercials for firms such as the Ford Motor Company. In June 2020, Discovery Channel announced "Dirty Jobs: Rowe’d Trip", four episodes to be aired in mid-July 2020, billed as "part reunion, part road-trip, part look-back-special" If you like our videos follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/NtmaP If you want to hear about movies we are watching off Channel check our letterboxd: https://letterboxd.com/conny420/
