ご縁があって丹那盆地の長光寺さんの荒れ果てた竹林を整備することになったのですが、せっかくなので楽しく遊びながら竹の事を学ぼうと考えイベントを計画しました。木々が眠る霜月の新月に伐採された竹は腐らず長持ちする最高の竹になると言い伝えられています。なので、翌日が新月という竹伐採にも適した日にイベント開催しました。
