NZ RailAction's video: Welcome Back Di 1102 - Easter 2018 HD

During Easter Weekend 2018, Di 1102 made its come back to the rails when it made its first public appearance on the Ferrymead Railway operating passenger services over the long weekend. After nine long years of hard work undertaken by the dedicated team at the Diesel Traction Group, Di 1102 now undergoes the testing and certification stage to mainline running on the KiwiRail network, by gaining as many hours and mileage in service on heritage railways. We capture the locomotive making light work on the Ferrymead Railway on Easter Monday running as a single unit with the passenger service. All going well, Di 1102 will return to the mainline later this year and be put to use on mainline excursions, potentially her first charter will be in October with Dg 772, enjoy!
