Dr. Nuran Nabi was a dedicated activist in the Bangladesh Liberation Movement. Arguably, he faced the first bullets of the Pakistani genocide on March 25th while erecting a barricade near the Dhaka University campus. During the war, he risked his life thrice to bring 32 boats of arms from India. This event played a significant role in shaping the history of the liberation war in Bangladesh. Dr. Nabi is a living legend of the Bangladesh Liberation War and has been a Plainsboro Township of New Jersey Councilman since 2007. The film’ “Dr. Nuran Nabi, A Freedom Fighter Forever” is a documentary on the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. It depicted the sacrifices of the people of Bangladesh and the heroism of the Freedom Fighters of Bangladesh and India.
