So, we of course wanted to see those demos for ourselves! We tracked him down, and his teammate Chris, to learn more about what their team at Google does. Turns out, the Airbender team is a small group of folks working on physical interaction research & development. Their main focus is to invent new ways for people to interact with computers. And in their quest to do so, they make a ton of different stuff –– including gesture recognition, computer vision, multi-device interactions, VR input, sound, haptics, bad ideas/mistakes/accidental discoveries, and more. Thanks to our our friend Vibe Mountain for the music in this episode, and our friends Julia Melograna and Zoë Lotus for the illustrations and animations. :) Nat & Lo's 20% Project http://youtube.com/natandlo -- a show about all the stuff we're curious about at Google.
