Happy Greek Remembrance Day!! As a child I used to listen the stories of my grandparents about these dark days, their resistance, their pride, their desperation and their fight for freedom and dignity. So I feel so proud for them. We celebrate this day with the same tributes we celebrate our National Day. The tributes are referring to the Greece's role to WWII, but also to the general brutal history of WWII in other countries like in Poland, in Russia, in France, in Germany, in Italy, in Netherlands, in Serbia and the Holocaust. So this day is honoured as glorious and as a day of mourning.
